On Monday, April 17, leaders of Collage Day School hosted a Meet & Greet to share information about the school’s 2017-18 school year and Collage’s mission, educational approach, focus on the “whole child” and goal of inspiring appreciation for the natural world.
The event was held in The Ocean Room of The Lodge & Club at Ponte Vedra Beach, from noon – 1 p.m. and included a light lunch and refreshments. During the Meet & Greet, guests had the opportunity to meet the school’s CEO, Katie Falwell, Ph.D.; COO Lauren Halstead; and other school leaders such as Director of Education Kristin Lunsford, Ph.D.; Director of Curriculum & Instruction Tiffany Clark, M.A.; and Director of Health & Wellness Emily Vasquez, M.S.
Collage Day School is an academically challenging, independent day school in Palm Valley, Ponte Vedra Beach, which educates students from 3 months through 5th grade. Collage Day School serves children within three communities: the Early Childhood Development Community, which includes Infants, Walking Ones and Toddlers/Twos; the Primary School Community, which includes Pre-K and Transitional Kindergarten; and the Elementary School Community, which includes Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. We are passionate about providing a rich, integrative curriculum that has been personalized for each student and is designed to encourage creative thinking.
Collage Day School will open on Aug. 10 for the new school year on the campus previously occupied by Accotink Academy By The Sea, which is no longer serving students. The facilities and the campus will be completely renovated to accentuate the school’s emphasis on fostering the growth of whole, well-rounded and happy children and on building an appreciation for the natural world.
