Schedule: Thursdays starting 11/6-2/12

What to Expect:
We are excited to announce an updated version of our Farm & Wilderness enrichment program! While families may be familiar with our outdoor activities from the past, this new program will expand and grow in exciting ways. Children will still enjoy time outdoors exploring the surrounding school grounds, farming, and working with animals, but we are now adding a Forest School approach to deepen their learning.
Forest School emphasizes child-led exploration, outdoor play, and building independence, self-esteem, and confidence through nature. To support this, we’ll be incorporating activities inspired by the Forest School Handbook—a rich collection of hands-on projects, survival skills, crafts, and nature play.
Students will have the chance to:
- Practice bushcraft basics and survival skills
- Create nature-inspired crafts
- Engage in peaceful reflection outdoors as well as energizing outdoor play
- Connect more deeply with the natural world through seasonal, child-led activities
This new format ensures that even children who have participated in Farm & Wilderness before will experience fresh opportunities, new challenges, and different activities. Farm & Wilderness will continue to be offered on Thursdays, and we’re looking forward to seeing your children thrive in this new chapter of outdoor education!
