Jamie is a passionate educator and accomplished school leader with over 20 years of experience in teaching, administration, and student support. Originally from the UK, Jamie holds a BA, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and a Master’s degree in Education from Birmingham University, England, along with a Florida VPK Director Credential.
Her career has taken her across the globe, including leadership roles as Deputy Principal in the Cayman Islands and Headteacher in London. These experiences have given Jamie a unique, international perspective on education and a deep appreciation for how children thrive when schools partner closely with families.
Her early work as a behavior therapist further enriched her expertise in student support, inclusive practices, and fostering environments where every child can succeed.
At Collage, Jamie is dedicated to creating a Lower School experience rooted in balance, wellness, and curiosity. She works alongside teachers and families to design student-centered classrooms that build confidence, celebrate creativity, and nurture a lifelong love of learning.
Chelsea is in her third year as School Nurse at Collage Day School, where she combines more than a decade of critical care experience with a deep commitment to the health and wellness of our school community. Her role extends far beyond traditional nursing—Chelsea is a trusted partner to students, families, and staff, ensuring that each child has the support needed to thrive physically, emotionally, and academically.
Chelsea holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Broward College and is a Registered Nurse with 13 years of experience in adult critical care, including Coronary Care and Neurosurgery/Trauma ICU. With extensive training in emergency response, she brings both clinical expertise and calm assurance to every situation.
She is also a certified First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor through the American Red Cross, equipping faculty and staff with the skills and confidence to respond in emergencies. As part of her responsibilities, Chelsea leads emergency preparedness training for Collage Day School staff, helping foster a culture of safety and readiness.
Equally passionate about preventive care, she leads initiatives that promote healthy habits, mindfulness, and overall well-being throughout the school day.
Chelsea is a mother to two children, ages 6 and 4, who also attend Collage. In her leisure time, she enjoys rucking and listening to health and wellness podcasts.
At Collage Day School, all faculty, staff, volunteers, contractors, and partners are expected to help protect the safety and wellbeing of our students. By staying aware of concerns and responding appropriately, our school community works together to support every child. We believe early identification, appropriate support, and responsible action are essential to safeguarding students from harm.
First aid support
Reassurance is built into every school day through CPR- and First Aid-trained staff across campus, alongside an on-site Registered Nurse, ensuring immediate and knowledgeable care.

Careful visitor screening and secure entry procedures help protect our campus each day, giving families added reassurance and helping maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Secure campus
Secure cameras, classroom visibility features, transparent doors, and active outdoor monitoring help maintain attentive supervision across learning and play spaces, giving families confidence in a safe, caring environment.
Safeguarding training
Ongoing safeguarding training, together with the support of dedicated Designated Safeguarding Leads, helps ensure concerns are identified early, handled with care, and addressed promptly.
Background checks
Student wellbeing is supported by thorough employment screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, helping ensure that all adults working with children meet required standards.
Faculty training
Our faculty receives extensive training in research-based educational and behavioral methods that help children develop self-control, social-emotional skills, and confidence in group settings.

Every behavior is approached as meaningful communication, allowing educators to understand the needs behind challenging moments while preserving a safe, respectful classroom environment.

Through behavior-specific praise, proactive redirection, modeling, and positive interactions, educators nurture emotional regulation, peer connection, and confident participation, strengthening a caring culture.

Controlled media consent
A structured parental media release framework guides the use of student photos, video, and audio, ensuring school promotions, website content, and social media communications respect family preferences and student privacy.

Section 1006.061(1), Pursuant Section 1006.061(1) of Florida Statutes, all employees and agents of the district school board, charter school or private school have an affirmative duty to report all actual or suspected cases of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect.
Section 1006.061(2), Florida Statutes, requires each district school, charter school and private school that accepts scholarship students to post at the school site and on the schools’ internet site (if available) the policies and procedures for reporting alleged misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators which affects the health, safety or welfare of a student.
