The Burrow brings learning to life by transforming Collage’s natural environment into an extension of the classroom. Through hands-on investigations connected to science, mathematics, language arts, social studies, and the arts, students explore ecosystems, measure plant growth, document discoveries, and apply academic concepts in meaningful ways.

By planting gardens, restoring habitats, monitoring wildlife, and caring for shared spaces, students also build curiosity, confidence, leadership, teamwork, and environmental responsibility, developing the skills to become thoughtful learners and caring stewards of the world around them. 

At our Nocatee private school, children grow with the guidance of qualified teachers who understand how they learn and who they are as individuals. Every class is led by a dedicated educator, with assistant teachers in larger classes to provide more personalized support.

Rather than relying on scripted lessons, our faculty brings learning to life in developmentally appropriate ways, using research-based practices, family collaboration, and careful milestone monitoring.

Through daily encouragement, imagination, independence, and respect for others and the planet, students develop the skills and mindset to become joyful learners and thoughtful future leaders. 

Language learning begins with the belief that communication is the key to early discovery. In Early Learning, children are introduced to American Sign Language (ASL), giving even the youngest learners a meaningful way to express their needs, thoughts, and emotions before spoken language fully develops.  

As students move into Elementary, they transition to Spanish language learning, where they continue developing communication skills while building cultural understanding and global awareness.

Through after-school enrichment, students may also explore additional world languages, further expanding their appreciation for different cultures and ways of communicating. 

Collage Day School’s eight-acre Ponte Vedra campus is a true home away from home, where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. Thoughtfully designed academic spaces feature natural materials and hands-on resources for Project-Based Learning, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and meaningful discovery.

Our scientific studies take full advantage of our woodland campus, bringing students’ experiences beyond the four walls of a classroom.  

At our private school in St. Johns County, FL, partnership with parents is an essential part of each child’s journey. Families stay connected through The Weekly Owl newsletter, direct communication with teachers, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and the FACTS Parent Portal, giving them a meaningful window into classroom life and student progress.

To support busy families, Collage also offers flexible daycare schedules, extended care options, before and after school care, and select Care Day programming in a safe, nurturing environment.

Beyond daily communication and care, family events and the CDS Parent Community Alliance help build strong relationships, encourage parent involvement, and create a warm, connected school community. 

At Collage Day School, learning extends beyond the classroom through a vibrant mix of clubs, sports, enrichment classes, outdoor adventures, leadership opportunities, community service, and family events.  

Optional after-school enrichment classes are offered each semester from 3:10pm to 4:15pm, giving students meaningful ways to explore new interests and build important skills. From art, world languages, and athletics to adventure clubs, peer mentorship, and service-based experiences, students grow in confidence, creativity, and independence. These opportunities encourage curiosity, teamwork, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging within the school community.
