Desiree is a Washington state native who moved to Florida in 1992. She attended Florida State College at Jacksonville. She has served as an assistant kindergarten teacher and as a volunteer in the public-school system. Desiree completed the Child Development Associate Credential in early childhood education in 2019. She is married with four beautiful children, and believes there is nothing more precious than seeing life through the eyes of a child. Desiree has a strong faith in God and her faith is the foundation of her family. Outside of class, Desiree’s hobbies include spending time with her family, hiking in the mountains and being outdoors. She also enjoys reading, music, and art.
