Ashley Hobbs

Support Teacher

Ashley Hobbs holds an A.A. from Florida State College of Jacksonville and earned 45 training hours from the Department of Children and Families. As an early childhood educator, and an infant teacher, she knows that the early years of children’s lives are the most crucial when it comes to their development, because children at this stage grow and learn at phenomenal rates. She believes that it is critically important to have a child in an environment that is consistent and secure; therefore, she strives to provide a safe, comfortable, stimulating, fun, and structured day plan to each and every class.

Prior to joining Collage Day School as a Lead Infant Teacher in 2017, Ashley served at Keystone Behavioral Pediatrics for one year. There, she worked in the infant classroom as an assistant teacher, quickly moving up to the Co-Lead teacher position. Ashley was a second-grade tutor for four years and worked at J. Allen Axson Montessori School for two years as a paraprofessional, where she initially discovered her passion for teaching.

She resides in Jacksonville Beach, Florida with her fiancé. Currently, she is working toward her B.A in early childhood education at the University of Phoenix. Outside of school, she enjoys spending her time with her fiancé, practicing yoga, going to the beach, and hiking.
